CIEE: What is your favorite part of your typical day in the U.S.?
Kurumi: What is your favorite part of your typical day in the U.S.?
My favorite part is school because American school is really different compare to my country's. So everything in school is interesting and new to me.
CIEE: What is your favorite American food?
Kurumi: I'm staying in North Carolina, so I love bojangles biscuits! Lol and poptarts are my favorite also.
CIEE: What has been the most surprising thing about America or your new host city?
Kurumi: You can get anything from the drive thru, even the pharmacy. And everything is big.
CIEE: What have you shared about your own home country/culture since you’ve been in the U.S.?
Kurumi: I shared about the education stuff with my host family because I want to be a teacher and education in America and education in my country is really different so it's good to share for both.
CIEE: What have you learned about yourself so far?
Kurumi: I've learned lots of things not only the language or culture stuff but also the things I need to do to live in the society in the future, like everything is up to me, no matter what.
